The reference implementation — the format we built the engine against.
- Three parts, 100 multiple-choice items each
- Scheduled breaks and section locking
- Scaled 200–800, pass at 500
Coaching institutes use ZensExam to author format-accurate papers, deliver them as true exam simulations, mark them, and hand students a study hub for the weeks in between.

ICT Islamabad — Institute of Taxation
We are taking a small number of institutes for the first cohort, and working closely with each one.
Qualifications
An exam pack ships the templates, syllabus tree and delivery rules for one qualification. Pick yours and the institute is configured; borrow question types across packs when you want to.

The one qualification with rules the others do not have — and they are enforced.

ICAP
Practice and study content work today. The exam templates do not exist yet — we are confirming the paper list, and which levels are computer-based, with the client.
How it works
No stitching together a form builder, a spreadsheet and a video call.
Import a bank by CSV, write questions in the editor, or draft them with AI and review before publishing. Every item is validated against its answer key, and nothing reaches a student without a human approving it.
A server-authoritative timer, section locking, scheduled breaks and resume-after-disconnect. Assign to a cohort, or sell access — your choice, per course.
Objective items grade themselves. Constructed responses land in a marking queue, where AI proposes a score and a human confirms or overrides it.
True simulation
Students should meet the interface, the pacing and the pressure before exam day, not on it. The engine reproduces the real format down to how sections lock, when breaks are allowed, and what a candidate is permitted to go back to.

Integrity
Two failures matter more than every feature on this page: a student losing work mid-paper, and one institute seeing another's data. Both are designed out rather than monitored for.
The server owns the clock
Not the browser. A tab reload does not buy a candidate more time.
An autosave is confirmed, not hoped for
Answers commit to Postgres before the request returns, so a 200 response is the durability guarantee itself.
Lockdown browser with a violation timeline
Warn, log, then auto-submit — thresholds set per exam. A deterrent, and we describe it as one.
Institutes are isolated at the database
Row-level security on a per-request tenant context, not a WHERE clause someone can forget.
If a laptop dies mid-paper there is nothing to recover, because the answer was never only in the browser.

Marking and analytics
Results break down by topic, not just by total. Proficiency and readiness are tracked over time, so a teacher can see which chapters a cohort is failing while there is still time to teach them again.

Between the mocks
A mock every fortnight leaves thirteen days unaccounted for. Students get chapter-by-chapter practice, flashcards that resurface on a spaced-repetition schedule, and somewhere to keep their own notes.

White-label
Your logo, your colours, your subdomain. Students sign in to your institute, not to ours. And they never pay us — whether you charge them is your decision, per course.

Pricing
Every tier runs real, format-accurate mock exams. What changes as you go up is how many students you can enrol, and how much of the marking and analysis we do for you.

Questions
Stop stitching together forms and spreadsheets. Give your students an exam that behaves like the real one, and give yourself the results to teach from.
